Por qué la moda está conectada al arte?
La moda está conectada al arte y la cultura porque nace de la cultura, creada por artesanos y artistas para luego ser comercializada.
Desde que el hombre estuvo en la tierra tuvo la necesidad de crear con lo que hay a su alrededor, artículos de necesidad y accesorios o prendas para tener una diferenciación entre unos y otros.
Las primeras prendas que el hombre creó fueron pieles de animales por el frío, gracias a los dientes de los animales que cazaron crearon la primera aguja y pudieron unir las piezas para crear un abrigo, por otro lado, las cretas, los griegos, y egipcios por sus climas cálidos empezaron a usar trajes hechos de lino, solían teñirlos con tintes naturales creando prendas preciosas y ligeras para soportar las altas temperaturas.
En el occidente descubren el Lápiz Lazuli, una piedra preciosa que teñía color azul intenso, pero era muy difícil de obtener, entonces el color azul se volvió un lujo.
En la época del Renacimiento, la Nobleza y la Iglesia solían vestir siempre con las últimas tendencias usando las telas más finas, luciendo trajes súper elaborados y eran los que dictaban la moda, sobre todo en Italia, donde usaban encajes y telas con estampados, dominando atuendos con un estilo barroco tan imponente como las estructuras de las Catedrales. España también cumplió un rol muy importante para dictar tendencias, hasta la llegada de Marie Antoinette a Francia dejando una nueva tendencia la cual ha marcado una historia, el nacimiento de L’Haute Couture (Alta Costura) gracias a la iniciativa de diseñar y confeccionar prendas únicas, pero ésta es otra larga historia para contar que en otro momento les contaré. Paris se convierte en la capital de la Alta Moda, fuente de inspiración para el mundo del arte y la moda hasta la actualidad.

At the time of the Renaissance, the Nobility and the Church used to always dress with the latest trends using the finest fabrics, wearing super-elaborate costumes and were the ones who dictated fashion, especially in Italy, where they used lace and patterned fabrics, dominating outfits with a baroque style as impressive as the structures of the Cathedrals. Spain also played a very important role in dictating trends, until the arrival of Marie Antoinette to France leaving a new trend which has marked a history, the birth of L'Haute Couture (Haute Couture) thanks to the initiative to design and make garments unique, but this is another long story to tell that at another time I will tell you.
